If you have anything to do with any part of a supply chain you will have a degree of responsibility. It will your responsibility to take all reasonably practicable steps to ensure the safety of everyone within your transport activities.
All Executives will have to exercise due diligence and a proactive non-delegable duty of care to ensure their business, in all supply chain activities complies with the act.
